On April 11, 2009, the House passed HOUSE BILL NO. 137 am. An                                                                   
engrossing error failed to remove the effective date in the title of the                                                        
amended bill. The corrected title follows:                                                                                      
                                                                                                                                
             HOUSE BILL NO. 137 am "An Act relating to an                                                                       
             interstate compact on educational opportunity for                                                                  
             military children; amending Rules 4 and 24, Alaska                                                                 
             Rules of Civil Procedure."
